Stacie McCormick is a London-based artist working across large-scale painting and expanded practice. Her work explores states of intensity, rupture, and emotional force, often operating at the threshold between control and collapse.

She is the founder of Unit 1 Gallery | Workshop, an artist-led organisation that has supported and exhibited hundreds of artists through residencies, exhibitions, and public programmes.

McCormick is the former Chair of a-n The Artists Information Company and is currently a board member, where she chaired during one of the most significant periods of transformation in the organisation’s 40-year history.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in London, Paris, New York, and San Francisco and can be found in collections worldwide.

She is currently developing a major new body of work accompanied by a forthcoming publication featuring an essay by Farah Nayeri.
